Wonderful little motel right off the highway. Beautifuly renovated rooms, much nicer than a lot of motels I've stayed in. Beds were fairly comfortable as well. Front desk staff were very kind. Would stay here again!
Charming owner, nice room, perfect for traveling with a dog. The room was simple with a bare floor (easy to keep clean) but comfortable and with everything we needed. Very nice breakfast included, in a pleasant dining room with attention to all the small details that made it an enjoyable experience. We were given a ground floor room, so easy to take the dog out for a run on the green space around the motel. Rural setting, right off the highway. Highly recommend.
With 5 stars being reserved for absolute luxury, this motel definitely deserves 4 stars. Very clean and very comfortable large room with an excellent bed and pillows. Lower floor rooms have a backdoor to outdoors and upper floor rooms have a balcony. The owner handles reception and provides a very comfortable B&B feel. The continental breakfast was very nice and served in a lovely eating area. The owner even came around to guests offering more coffee. We would definitely stay here again.
We were disappointed to learn that ferry service from the north shore of the St. Lawrence to the south shore is very limited after mid-September, with little or no frequency or capacity, and unavailable in only moderately bad weather. We were physically unable to travel to the south shore because there was no ferry space available. We tried to cancel our room more than 24 hours ahead of your stated check-in time, when we realized we could not reach the south shore. Your cancellation policy should perhaps be reconsidered or an advisory should be provided to let guests know that travel between the north and south shores is very limited after mid-September. We would have enjoyed our visit but we are disappointed that your cancellation policy unduly favours the hotel over its guests. Sorry we missed visiting you,
